I’ll See Your Boxleitner and Raise You a Willis

Sunday Apr 24, 2022
We are 2/3 of the way through the Disney+ Moon Knight series and we've got thoughts...lots and lots of thoughts. Why do we have so many thoughts about Moon Knight. Maybe we should spend a whole show on just that.
This, however, is not that show.
Instead, we talk about things like:
- Kansas City's Planet ComiCon
- house painting
- sooo many shades of white
- our desire to have Donald Westlake (RIP) write Moon Knight
- television shows designed to fill the nation's Raider of the Lost Ark gap in the early 80s
- Seagram's Golden Wine Coolers
- Bruce's idea for the TFL
- Doctor Who
- Better Call Saul
- Steve's addiction to Star Trek ship porn
We also unbox a cool Gorilla Grodd that Stephe sent to Bruce
And, of course, we check in with Connor for an updated count. I feel like we need a tote board.
Enjoy.

The Moon Knight Episode aka Terrier by Night
Monday Apr 04, 2022
Monday Apr 04, 2022
It seems like it's all been leading up to this.
For 40 episodes we've featured some kind of Moon Knight talk. Now, your favorite #Moonatics finally get to talk about the new Disney+ show featuring their spirit animal.
Oh, but they don't start there.
Oh no.
They do a deep dive into the comic book origins of the character and then offer some ideas of their own.
They also cold call Bruce's son, Connor, the guest on Episode 40.
Yeah, they're apparently a Morning Zoo now.
Other topics included:
- The finicky nature of Zoom
- Kids
- Planet of the Apes
- Ted Knight
- Jason Aaron
- The Lost City aka Romancing the Proposal
- Senor Noche
Dive in #Moonatics.
Enjoy.

Dropping A$$ with Special Guest Connor Cook
Sunday Mar 20, 2022
Sunday Mar 20, 2022
This episode is an example of nepotism at its finest as the boys welcome Bruce's son, Connor, to the podcast, ostensibly to discuss the new Batman movie.
The Batman was discussed as were these topics:
- Stephe's recent trip to Florida
- Thrifty Car Rental
- Cards Against Humanity
- Connor's pocasting career
- Adventures in the ER
- Moon Knight
- What's on Your Desk?
- MCU television
- Our Tee Public store
- Paul Hogan and Benny Hill
- Dusty Rhodes
- Baseball
I honestly don't remember how we got to Paul Hogan.
Enjoy.

All He Did Was Make Some Weird Alfredo Sauce
Sunday Feb 27, 2022
Sunday Feb 27, 2022
Bruce comes in from an afternoon of day drinking to join Stephe for a very reflective episode of the podcast.
When you've been friends this long, sometimes you tell the stories just for yourself and maybe to see if they match up.
What stories? Listen and find out.
We also talk about:
- Parker
- Jason Statham as Parker
- Robert Downey, Jr. as Parker
- Who would actually be a good Parker.
- Peacemaker
- ATX Cocina
- Southern accents
- Steve Miller
- Batman
- Uncharted
- Power of the Dog
- Resident Alien
The world may be burning, but you can count on us to keep it light.
Enjoy!

She’s Got Skinny Little Witch Hands
Thursday Feb 10, 2022
Thursday Feb 10, 2022
Before the ending was marred by a technical glitch the boys were in top form talking all kinds of pop culture and current event.
Like what you may ask?
Like this:
- Joe Rogan
- Stephe's bout of COVID
- Eternals
- Inhumans
- The Book of Boba Fett
- Star Wars in general
- AEW
- Selling shit
- Darwyn Cooke
- Holidays
- Reacher
- James Harden and the power of the beard
- MEGO
- Retromania
- Vintage Toys
- AEW again
Then the glitch happened.
Enjoy

Everything Looked Throbby with Special Guest John Moorehouse
Sunday Jan 30, 2022
Sunday Jan 30, 2022
Episode 37 finds the podcast taking another step forward as we conduct our first interview.
Tonight we welcomed John Moorehouse of In Moore House Wrestling to the show.
John comes on to talk about his new wrestling related project and all things wrestling.
It's a good time. You want to listen.
After John leaves, we return to more of our usual shenanigans, including:
- handling unemployment hearings
- inappropriate workplace conversations
- slumpbusting
- craft brewing
- chiropractic care
- Moon Knight
- GOOD tequila
- "What's on Bruce's Desk?"
- How bad the new Buckaroo Banzai book is
- Finding good Cajun food in obscure places
- Confederacy of Dunces
The episode was apparently brought to us, AGAIN, by Dr. Nut.
You can follow all of John's doings on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Just clink on the links.

How the Grinch Ate Our Podcast
Thursday Dec 16, 2021
Thursday Dec 16, 2021
This whole episode was a disaster.
It started when my computer wouldn't recognize Google. That meant I had to move all my equipment around and we had no sound effects board.
Then we were uninspired and the show was really flat.
Then Zoom started an upgrade and ate the audio.
That was probably for the best.
So, rather than let the evening be a complete bust, I took a cue from Spinal Tap and went full Jazz Odyssey.
I picked two vocal track completely at random. One for Stephe and one for me.
I have no idea how well they match up, but I fused them together like some stereophonic Frankenstein.
Whatever that adds up is what you get tonight.
Consider it my Christmas gift to you.
Your reaction will determine if you were naughty or nice.

Revenge is a Dish Best Served Cajun
Wednesday Dec 01, 2021
Wednesday Dec 01, 2021
The boys are back from Thanksgiving and working without a script. That's not that unusual around here, but still, you'd think they'd learn.
Anyway, here are some of the topics discussed on tonight's show:
- Paying Medical Bills
- Mail scams
- Stephe finally read Scumbag
- The Boys and the dangers of Herogasm
- The trouble with the trees
- Lawyers
- Bruce goes full fanboy over MJF
- Bad Motherfucker: The Life and Movies of Samuel L Jackson, the Coolest Man in Hollywood
- Snakes on a Plane v. Planes on a Snake
- ArcaneBullshit.com
- Stephe's weird obsession with glassblowing shows
- The weirdness of 90s music - we're looking at you Lou Bega
We also spent a lot of time at the top of the show discussing Frome - their products and their excellent customer service. This is a free plug...unless they want to send us some free swag.
